Senior Advisor to HARDGRID

Former Production Manager from Koenigsegg

Johan takes the role as senior advisor for HARDGRID as well as project manager for the Thermlight project, which is run with industry leaders in metal hardening for the automotive industry.
Johan is employed by the company Avalon Innovation, which owns TC TECH and HARDGRID, where he manage complex projects on behalf of our customers.
Previously, he was employed as production manager at Koenigsegg and before that at JBT Foodtech and Borg Warner.

“The induction heating technology is a really exciting opportunity to open new possibilities to sheet metal processing and design.
It presents new possibilities for the current press hardening manufacturing but also opens the possibility for smaller scale hardened components that currently is out of scope due to investments and volumes.

From a design perspective the possibility to design a sheet metal part that has different material properties within the same part opens up new ways of thinking when designing.”
