TC TECH has patent protection

TC TECH has patent protection for its groundbreaking induction technology within metal heating

HARDGRID is proud to announce that their technology is patented. This milestone is a major advance for the company's induction method for metal heating, which improves material efficiency and reduces the environmental impact of industrial production.

HARDGRID was founded in 2019 as a subsidiary of TC TECH Sweden AB. TC TECH is a Swedish Tech company that designs and produces production equipment based on the company's unique and patented induction embossing technology. TC TECH provides production equipment to companies that produce optical films for high requirement applications in screens and displays. By using TC TECH's production equipment they can design and manufacture the next generation of optical films.

After 10 years of research and development, TC TECH is now approaching a commercial breakthrough and has several systems on the market, mainly in Asia. In recent years, we have broadened our offer to also become a future technology partner for the automotive industry, through the subsidiary HARDGRID.

HARDGRID has developed a patented induction technology for companies that want fast heating of sheet metal in their processes. After heating, the details can be partially but also homogeneous press-hardened and with very good material properties. Instead of using today's heating technology with ovens before the press, companies can reduce energy consumption in manufacturing, reduce waste and bring out new material properties in their details.

The patent

TC TECH has developed a patented induction technology (used by HARDGRID Technology AB) for companies that want fast heating of sheet metal in their processes. After heating, the details can be partially but als homogenius press-hardened and with very good material properties. Instead of using today's heating technology with ovens before the press, companies can reduce energy consumption in manufacturing, reduce waste and bring out new material properties in their details.

The patent is covering TC TECH’s / HARDGRID's unique hardening technology principle.

We are delighted to have this patent recognized. The company's unique technology offers a patented technology to companies that want rapid heating of sheet metal in their processes using induction technology. Together we tailor the customers equipment for the best possible results. Also reducing the need for expensive production lines and enabling more flexible and efficient production systems. Our technology is not just about creating stronger products; it's about redefining how we approach manufacturing in a way that benefits both business and the planet. This patent protects our technology and recipe as we launch our vision and technology to the market.

- Petter Karlow Herzog, CTO of TC TECH and HARDGRID

With the patent secured, TC TECH is poised to accelerate its strategic partnerships with key players in the automotive and manufacturing sectors.
